Biographie

Als Strassenbub wurde ich 1946 in Holon, Israel, dem damaligen Palästina, geboren. Meine Familie kämpfte mit der grossen Armut im Land, die bis zu meiner Militärzeit dauerte.

Nach dem 6-Tage-Krieg lebte und arbeitete ich 7 Jahre im Kibbutz Lahv und genoss die schöne Landschaft der Wüste.

1975 kam ich in die Schweiz und begann gleich als Antikschreiner zu arbeiten.                    

1984, zwei Monate, bevor meine Tochter Shirin zur Welt kam, hatte ich einen schweren Autounfall. 3 Jahre später wurde meine Tochter Lilith geboren.

1992 eröffnete ich eine eigene Antik- und Kunstschreinerei in Richterswil. Seit dieser Zeit beschäftige ich mich intensiv mit Antiquitäten und Kunst.

2006 schloss meine Schreinerei. Seither hat die Kunst mich nur noch stärker fasziniert und ich arbeite hauptsächlich an neuen Skulpturen, die als Idee schon lange existieren und jetzt entstehen können.

As a street boy I was born 1046 in Holon, Israel, then still Palestine called. My family was fighting with the big poverty in the country, which lasted until my time in military service.                             

After the 6-days-war I lived and worked for almost 7 years in Kibbutz Lahv and enjoyed the beautiful landscape of the dessert.

1975 I immigrated to Switzerland and started right away to work as a carpenter of antiquities.

1984, two month before my first child Shirin was born, I was disabled by a heavy car accident. Three years later my daughter Lilith was born.                          

1992 I opened my own joiner’s workshop in Richterswil and started to engage myself intensively with antiquities and sculptures art.

2006 the doors of my cabinet workshop closed. Since then I occupy myself harder then ever with art and sculptures, which’s forms since a long time are only ideas but want to get real now.
